Khan's Level 50 Promotion Mission


This is perhaps the easiest one of the level 50 promotional missions. IT
certainly is the simplest, though you have to fight some drones that may 
require higher-level players grouped with you to destroy them.

First, you have to go to 61 Cygni system to talk to Khan.  He sends you off
to go kill 3 drones.  The drones are all CL 16, and should not be too much
trouble to fight.  They dont aggro on you so just pick one out of the horde 
that is hovering around the shield, and attack it.  Repeat until you have
killed all 3.  Next mission stage is to grab one of the pieces of Drone Slag
that is floating around nav Cygni Shield 5, and tractor it in.

Return to Khan.

Khan sends you off to then kill a master controller drone. These are CL 21.  
Because these drones are a bit tougher, he gives you a virus disk device that
hacked the heck out of the drone.  Equip it, fire it off on the drone, and
give it hell.  Once the drone is dead, the system automatically tractors the
AI cortex into your hold. Return it to Khan.  BEWARE if your hold is full when
you kill the controller, you will be stuck and need to page a GM to get the AI
core out of your 'Overflow area' -- happened to me!

Khan blathers on about drones and coded messages and stuff, and I dont know
what any of it means.  If anyone finds it out searching through various 
web sites, please let me know.

Once you're done talking to Khan, he sends you off back to your class leader
to get your promotion/free upgrade. That is about it!
